Salt Lake City to Kansas

Interviewing people for a book on music in Utah led to the oil refineries north of Salt Lake City. Hurricanes along Highway 10 began my book about a narration in Mobile, Alabama. Tornadoes along Highway 70 in Kansas spooked oil rig workers drilling along the 70 and 40 from Kansas City, Wichita, and Colby where I took out my video camera to study the mangled iron structures after a tornado hit ground. American is filled with stories about petroleum, but few teachers teach their students about the importance of producing energy in the form of oil. There are no books provided in the high schools. No lessons for kindergarten children.
