The reporters in Las Vegas have relationships. Over the years, these writers have connected with people. Still the newspapers are dying. Editors flew away as soon as billionaires invested in newspapers going bankrupt. Reporters cried online about taking jobs on the East Coast, in Michigan, many locals had a hard time letting go over the stories they covered in Nevada. Why would a writer lie about being at Ground Zero? Why lie about being in Yugoslavia, Israel, or Cairo during a war? The editors tell tales about publishing in Chicago before arriving in Las Vegas. I wonder if that why people fail to understand that a man can be in war outside of Vegas? Will my son face the same scrutiny? Could a writer using the Internet survive without his website? Will his website eventually become obsolete?
