Romania to Hamburg, Germany

Worry over my son makes me think; What did it feel like when my great grandmother put her son, George, on a cart to Hamburg, Germany, knowing she would never see him again? World War I began before Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on June 28, 1914. The assassination of the Archduke in Sarajevo was in 1914, but by the time George had left in 1913, war was planned, organized and funded for my intricate budgets.
